Scoutmaster Comments:
Conor joined the troop from Pack 424, and was the only Webelo to crossover from that pack that year. Conor's personality enabled him to quickly make new friends right away. His personality also became very well known to all of the leaders, he likes to make everyone think that he is miserable and unhappy, but deep down we all knew that he just wanted to smile. Every once in a while we did make him laugh.
Last year, Conor was approached to become the Chapter Chief for the Order of the Arrow in the Zekiah District. Conor came to me and asked for some "Scoutmaster Advice" and after talking to me decided to take the position. I am sure that he will forgive me for that guidance at some point (again....he knows he really did like it).
I am proud to have Conor as one of my Eagle Scouts and I know that he will represent all of us Eagle Scouts well throughout his life
Eagle Scout - Conor Lee
Started Scouting as a (Cub Scout - Boy Scout): I started Scouting as a Wolf Cub Scout in second grade in 1998.
Brief Description of Scouting Experience from the start of Scouting through Eagle and/or people who influenced decisions you made while working towards your Eagle Rank:
My Scouting Experience started when I joined Pack 424 as a 2 nd grader and became a wolf. Cub scouts I feel was a good experience in preparing me for middle school because I feel that it allowed me to start learn basic leadership skills and taught me how to make decisions on my own. Then when join troop 410 as a Boy Scout, as a graduating 5 th Grader, my eyes opened to the many things that I was being taught to do that I would have never dreamed of at that age. As a 12 year old was learn how to survive in the woods with very little items, and I learned how to build shelters in the woods. I also learned through scouting first aid, lifesaving, shotgun and rifle shooting, sailing, canoeing, and much more.
One of the things I enjoyed most about Scout was the high adventure camps or activities. My favorite thing was being able to go to Florida Sea with the Boy Scouts. Here I was able to go snorkeling on a schooner boat in the Florida Keys. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It was amazing snorkeling the reefs in Florida. I was able to see barracudas, a shark, a Green Eel, and so much more. Another high adventure activity that I enjoyed was white water rafting.
There are so many people that have influenced my decisions through my scouting experience. Some of the main people are My Mom and Dad, Mike Hunt, Mr. Brammell, Mr. Moore, Scooter, and Ethan Tippsword.
Eagle Project...
I built 15 outdoor Stations of the Cross at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. The church is located at 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, Maryland. My family is an active parishioner at this church. The 15 Stations of the Cross are the 15 stages leading up to, and after the crucifixion of Jesus. The stations are constructed of wooden crosses 6 feet tall from the ground with a frame covering plagues and “A” frame roof structure on top of the cross. Detailed fully hand painted resin Stations of the Cross plaques will be placed on each of the stations to indicate what each station represents.

Accomplishments...
I have had the opportunity to do many different things. I have held the following leadership positions with Troop 410 such as assistant senior patrol leader, troop guide, and Order of Arrow representative, quartermaster, and chaplain aide. I have also had the opportunity to represent the Zekiah District Order of Arrow as Chapter Chief.
Additional Comments / Future Plans...
The reason that I am interested in Engineering is because ever since I was young, I have enjoyed building and designing things. During my first year in the engineering program at North Point High School the skills I learned as a Boy Scout were very helpful in my course of study. Three years from now, I see myself starting college studying mathematics, engineering, and US history.
My future in scouting I believe will be highly active weather in 5 years or 20 years when I have my own kids. After receiving the Rank of Eagle Scout, I intend to stay committed to scouting, and show up to meetings and camp outs when I can as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Then in years to come when I have kids of my own I plan to have them actively involved in scouting so that they are able to learn leadership and much, much more. Hopefully one day my children will receive the Rank of Eagle Scout.
